A big race feel with the friendliness of a community based event.

Fantastic atmosphere with lots of people on the route.

Good surfaces along the entire route, mostly on closed rural lanes.

Fantastic marshals, lots of water stations and great event organisation.

Ran every one since it started and has got better every year and remains my favourite 10k ever

So many great things to mention!
The amount of toilets, the road closures, the organised race HQ, the marshals, the wonderful children on the baggage, the amount of people cheering from the side lines - I have never been cheered on that much in my life!
I recommend this race to all levels of runners - I will try my hardest to come back next year!
The prosecco for prizes were absolutely fantastic

This is a well run event, highly recommend. Youth volunteers are enthusiastic and helpful.

Great event, loved it

This has to be the best organised race I have done in a long time and speaking to other runners they felt the same. The registration process was simple, the email updates were frequent, the number pickup easy, the facilities and village atmosphere tremendous, the roaming photographers a nice bonus, the scouts baggage drop off and pickup were so efficient (i was even returned my bag as I approaced the office), the weather once again was great, a good number of pacers, well marshalled course, a difficult course, superb results system, a good size field of runners but not too big for the route, brilliant warm up session. And finally all of the officials and marshalls were so friendly and supportive. Well done to the organising committee, you smashed it.

No physio this year and the age bandings different… are they likely to change again ?

The water pistols towards the end were slightly annoying

I boycotted the event due to the medals being wooden along with my friends. Best decision to move back to the metal ones. Makes the event perfect
